Tinck Arms ARX15: A Budget HK 416 Alternative | IWA 2025

At IWA 2025, Tinck Arms unveiled the ARX15-MS COMBAT, a short-stroke gas piston rifle that brings HK 416 performance at a more accessible price. Featuring forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, fully ambidextrous controls, and barrel lengths from 11 to 16.5 inches, this rifle is built for reliability in harsh conditions. Like the HK 416, the ARX15 uses a piston-driven system for reduced fouling and improved durability, making it a serious contender for those wanting 416-like performance without the price tag.

How about just exporting the Upper Receiver to the US?

  • Tinck is a Slovenian/EU company, and it appears they're also made there, but I couldn't find a definitive answer on that. Given the common use of modern tech and fairly high levels of education in the EU, perhaps they're very good firearms.
