Strike Industries has just announced the release of their new aluminum chassis for the ever-popular Ruger 10/22 family of rimfire firearms. The new Strike Modular Chassis comes with a handguard extension to tailor its length to different 10/22 configurations and builds, and can accept both AR-15 buffer tubes and Picatinny rail stocks. Let’s go over other features of this new Strike 10/22 chassis.

Strike Industries @ TFB:

The Strike Modular Chassis for Ruger 10/22 is machined out of 6061 aluminum. The short handguard, which is one piece with the chassis, has a bottom ARCA rail section with two built-in M-LOK slots and a pair of M-LOK slots on the sides. On both sides of the chassis, there are also anti-rotation QD sling swivel sockets. The installation of the front handguard extension will add another pair of QD sockets, ten extra M-LOK slots at 10, 2, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and will extend the bottom ARCA rail. The Strike Modular Chassis also ships with a 0-MOA Picatinny rail section that can be attached to the top of the receiver for optics mounting.

The Strike Modular 10/22 chassis features thumb rests on both sides and is compatible with AR-15 pistol grips that don’t have a beavertail extension. The chassis also comes with two set screws for adjusting and centering the 10/22 receiver. The integrated magazine well is flared and the front wall of the magwell is designed to be used as a barricade stop.

The MSRP of Strike Industries' Modular Chassis for Ruger 10/22 receivers is $349.95. For more information, visit the company’s website.

Aluminum, even 6061 grade has gone up in cost. Maybe a $299 price would be more enticing though? I get the no grip, so many cheap generic ones get thrown away for user specific choice. This small chassis would be great for a smaller k style from magpul. The lack of a stock should open up shorter builds for them to sell their new “stab” brace or let a buyer use a sb tactical one too. Ditto for a normal rifle length build where you might want or already have a specific one ready to go. Hope to see some builds on Instagram soon.

Honestly, all this on a 10/22? Sorry, but they should call it Strike OUT Industries!
