MSBS GROT Pistol Cleared for U.S. Sale by ATF
Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom has officially secured ATF certification for the MSBS GROT Pistol, marking a major milestone in the rifle family’s long-anticipated entry into the American civilian market. The approval covers three barrel configurations, in 10.5”, 13”, and 14.5”, giving U.S. shooters multiple options once the platform becomes available through distributor Arms of America.
Note: Apart from the image above, we don’t know exactly how the American MSBS GTOR pistols will look. All other images are from the Polish website, and may not reflect what will be available in the U.S.
According to the manufacturer, the certification is the result of a multi-year effort to adapt the design to U.S. regulatory requirements and complete the necessary inspections. The GROT Pistol maintains the modularity and modern ergonomics the system is known for, positioning it as a potential alternative for buyers looking beyond the traditional AR-15 pattern.
"Obtaining ATF certification is an important step in building the position of Fabryka Broni and its products in the United States. It is also the result of a long-term, effectively implemented strategy by the Company's Management Board, aimed at introducing the MSBS GROT system to the US market. This certification was achieved in cooperation between our American distributor and Fabryka Broni's team of specialists, who conducted intensive work on each certification stage," emphasizes Seweryn Figurski, President of Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" Radom.
With approval now in hand, Fabryka Broni has begun preparations for U.S.-specific production. Availability will be announced as manufacturing and logistics ramp up, and final configuration options will be determined by the distributor.
"We see interest in the GROT in the US at every Shot Show. Many customers emphasized that the local market lacks a European platform with such modularity and ergonomics. The ability to prepare production for the American market is an important step in our expansion and a natural stage in the development of the MSBS system," emphasizes Daniel Wilk, Member of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" - Radom sp. z o.o.
"ATF certification is not just an administrative decision. It is also a confirmation of the quality and maturity of our design, preceded by a detailed analysis. It is a signal that the development path chosen by Fabryka Broni is the right one. At the same time, we are pleased that even before the GROTA begins selling on the American market, we are seeing real interest in the model from local trading partners and the shooting community," adds Jakub Czułba, Member of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" - Radom. Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" - Radom sp. z o.o.
While full details are still forthcoming, the ATF green light marks a significant step toward American shooters getting their hands on the GROT, a platform known internationally but largely absent from the U.S. commercial space until now.

I am GROT.
This makes me happy, but it'll probably be way out of my price range (like most things).
