MK Machining MSAC: Modular Scope Accessory Chassis
Just a few days after the news of MK Machining’s New Integrated Anti-Reflection Device Scope Caps they’re announcing the launch of the Modular Scope Accessory Chassis (MSAC). With increasing difficulties in seeing where my riflescope’s turrets are set, I’ve had my eyes (pun intended) on its predecessor for a while. The MSAC is a new optic enhancement designed to elevate the performance for shooters across competition, hunting, and tactical applications.
The MSAC is a streamlined platform that maximizes the utility of your optic’s maintube while preserving valuable real estate for other essentials. Constructed from 6061 Aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish, the MSAC offers ultralight durability, weighing just 1.76 oz (50 grams) without hardware.
Its ambidextrous design ensures seamless compatibility for both right- and left-handed shooters, making it a versatile choice for any shooter in need to see the bubble level and enhance visibility of your riflescope’s settings.
Key Features of the MSAC:
- Modular Design: Easily mount, remove, or reposition accessories like the Level Module and Lens Modules, with potential for future add-ons to keep your setup evolving.
- Space-Saving Efficiency: Preserves maintube real estate, allowing for additional accessories without clutter.
- Equal-Distance Lenses: Eliminates the need for staggered magnifiers, offering consistent 2-3x magnification depending on lens placement relative to the elevation turret.
- Ultra-Lightweight Construction: The complete system weighs just 1.76 oz (50 grams), with the naked chassis at 0.56 oz (16 grams), Lens Module at 0.42 oz (12 grams), and Level Module at 0.35 oz (10 grams).
- Scratch-Resistant Lenses: Built to withstand rugged field conditions while maintaining optical clarity.
- Ambidextrous Compatibility: Designed for universal use, accommodating both left- and right-handed shooters.
- Lifetime Warranty: Backed by MK Machining’s commitment to quality, ensuring performance in the field or on the range for as long as you own it.
Available Configurations:
The MSAC is compatible with a range of optic maintube sizes, including:
- 30mm Main Tubes
- 34mm Main Tubes
- 35mm Main Tubes
- 36mm Main Tubes
The MSAC is available now through MK Machining’s website, with a direct link here: https://www.mkmachining.com/product/msac-modular-scope-accessory-chassis/#msac-modular-scope-accessory-chassis-size
This time, I didn’t hesitate, and one of the first ones is on its way for evaluation. What do you think of the idea? Do you also have issues reading things close-up?
