LMT and its Swiss partner, SWISSLOXX AG, have secured a significant contract to supply rifles to the Swiss Armed Forces. Announced on February 23, the deal is a demonstration of the companies’ ability to meet the exacting standards of one of the world’s most meticulous military forces. The Sturmgewehr 25 and other rifles in the contract are designed with more modern features that align with Switzerland’s high expectations. According to the companies, the weapons are engineered for precision with optimized components that ensure consistent accuracy. They are also built to endure harsh conditions, having undergone rigorous testing to prove their durability. Additionally, innovative design elements minimize the risk of malfunctions, enhancing reliability during critical missions.

For LMT Defense, headquartered in Eldridge, Iowa, this contract reinforces its reputation as a trusted supplier to military units both stateside and beyond our borders. The company has long emphasized extreme durability and longevity as a base component of its small arms. SWISSLOXX AG, meanwhile, brings its expertise in procurement which is something that often falls to government agencies here in the United States.

The rifles are expected to enhance the Swiss Armed Forces’ capabilities across various operational contexts, from training exercises to potential deployments.
