JMAC Customs Announces The 360HD Taper Mount Muzzle Device Family
Production is in full swing at JMAC Customs, as I recently reported on their AK 1913 Dust Cover For Zastava M85 And M92, and I have whispers in my ear about an August announcement. Today, we have yet another, as JMAC has officially dropped its 360HD Taper Mount family, and as far as muzzle devices go, this one promises to do everything but make breakfast.
As the latest evolution in JMAC Customs’ Recoil Reduction Device (RRD) family of muzzle brakes, the 360HD taper mount takes into consideration just about everything a serious shooter needs, from durability and ease of installation to recoil mitigation, flash suppression, and suppressor host performance.
JMAC Customs 360HD muzzle devices are machined from 17-4ph stainless steel and built to sustain heavy-duty use in the most unfriendly environments. While the 360HD can be used on any rifle, it is optimised for use on short-barreled firearms and high-pressure applications, with no barrel length restrictions to speak of, ensuring rugged reliability and consistent performance across a variety of platforms. Finished in satin QPQ Black Nitride, the 360HD boasts enhanced corrosion and erosion resistance while maintaining a stylish, professional appearance.
So it’s tough, but what else?
360HD muzzle devices are designed using a graduated port structure that significantly reduces felt recoil and flash by redirecting gases more efficiently while providing three sacrificial baffles to enhance use while suppressed and minimize wear, extending the lifespan of your silencer. Additionally, the taper mount design is considered by many to provide superior concentricity and reduced maintenance while creating a strong friction seal that minimizes gas leakage and prevents the suppressor from backing off during heavy use.
Another feature I’ve come to appreciate from JMAC Customs 360 muzzle devices is the ease of installation, as the design requires no timing of the device, so toss those shims and stop cursing at the business end of your rifle. You can also leave your armorer’s wrench in the toolbox, as a simple 3/4" socket wrench is all that’s needed to secure the 360HD to your rifle.
