CrossBreed Holsters has announced the release of its new LightGuard Holster, expanding the company’s concealed-carry lineup to better support pistols equipped with weapon-mounted lights. Built on CrossBreed’s established MultiFlex platform, the LightGuard is designed to provide consistent retention, adaptability, and everyday comfort for both carry and range use.

CrossBreed Holsters @ TFB:

The LightGuard Holster uses a hybrid construction that pairs a precision-formed, light-specific Kydex lower shell with an injection-molded, adjustable upper shell that secures the pistol itself. This design allows retention to be indexed on the light while maintaining stability at the firearm, a configuration commonly preferred by shooters running modern defensive pistols with accessories. A key feature of the system is the replaceable lower shell, which lets users change or upgrade their weapon-mounted light without needing to replace the entire holster.

According to CrossBreed, the MultiFlex-based design is intended to keep the holster low profile to help reduce printing while still supporting a smooth, repeatable draw. The LightGuard Holster is compatible with a wide range of pistol and light combinations, from compact handguns with micro lights to full-size pistols equipped with duty-grade illumination.
