PROOF Research SWITCH Multi-Caliber Rifle
PROOF Research makes a bolt action rifle called Switch which allows to relatively quickly convert it to one of the popular short action calibers by changing the barrel and bolt head.
By having one high-end action and multiple barrel options you can have the same high-quality rifle for the majority of possible applications. You can configure it to hunt a wide variety of game (from vermin to large game), for tactical purposes or long range shooting. The rifle uses Big Horn Arms action, feeds from AICS pattern magazines and uses a proprietary barrel nut which makes the quick barrel change possible.
The Switch rifle comes with a PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel chambered in one of the following calibers: 223 REM, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .260 Remington or .308 Winchester. You can purchase additional barrels (either carbon fiber or conventional steel ones) chambered in one of these calibers: .22-250 Rem, .223 Rem, .243 Win, .260 Rem, .308 Win, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor and 7mm-08 Rem. The Switch also has a pillar bedded carbon fiber lightweight stock. The overall weight of the rifle with an empty magazine is 7 lbs 2oz.
The use of high-quality components allows the manufacturer to guarantee a 1/2 MOA accuracy. For more information watch the video embedded below.

For $4,000 dollars you can buy a better and just how many people will ever be switching barrels.... Most find a Caliber they like and stick with it. Heck most Hunters won't put 200 rounds thru their Bolt Action Rifle in their LIFETIME! I call GIMMICK for FANBOYS who THUMP their Chests like their Warriors when they're NOT!
T/C did this with the Contender already, and their system looks to be quite a bit faster in changing over barrels then this does.
