B.E. Meyers & Co. continues its longstanding support of US military night fighting capabilities with a significant new contract award. The Redmond, Washington-based company has been selected to deliver thousands of its advanced DAGIR-V1 laser systems to the US Army’s PM Soldier Lethality. This order underscores the growing emphasis on enhanced small arms fire control and lethality during low-light operations. Built around advanced VCSEL technology, the DAGIR series delivers compact, rugged performance that integrates aiming and illumination functions for modern weapon platforms.

Gunslinger Tactical, a company from Holly Springs, North Carolina, has introduced a new weapon-mounted illumination and aiming device called SeraphIM. Attaching to the handguard of a firearm via a 1913 rail, the SeraphIM integrates several LED and IR lights and lasers with a front grip. One of the primary advantages provided by this device is the minimal exposure of the shooter’s body when using a light or laser to aim around a corner. The built-in joystick allows smooth transitioning between the different lights and lasers.

EOTECH has announced the release of the OGL-C, a commercial variant of its On-Gun Laser system that brings the core capabilities of the OGL platform to the civilian market with eye-safe visible and infrared lasers, along with IR illumination. The OGL-C is offered in black or tan and is designed to mount primarily on a rifle’s top rail, though it can be positioned on other handguard surfaces as needed.

Rheinmetall has secured what it describes as the largest order for laser-light modules in its history, with the Bundeswehr placing a definitive call-off for the LLM-VarioRay in support of Germany’s new assault rifle program. The order follows approval by the German Bundestag’s Budget Committee in December, 2025, and is executed under a framework agreement originally concluded in June 2021.

NEXTORCH North America has announced the release of the WL25, a rail-mounted tactical weapon light that combines a high-output white light with an integrated green laser. The unit is designed to support rapid target identification and aiming in low-light conditions. Output is rated at up to 1,200 lumens and 44,100 candela, with a beam distance of approximately 459 yards.

Steiner Optics has announced that its ATLAS (Advanced Tactical Laser Aiming System) is now available to military and law enforcement customers, professional security users, and the wider commercial market. The unit is designed as a compact, multi-emitter aiming and illumination device intended to support a broad range of operational distances. I haven’t seen one in real life, but it looks really low-profile, with dimensions being 114 x 62 x 34mm (4.5 x 2.5 x 1.4 in.).

LaserMax have announced the launch of their GS-Max9-G laser for Ruger’s Max-9 compact pistols. The new laser as a green emitter and incorporates LaserMax’s GripSense technology which is able to detect when the user has a firm grip on the pistol, when it detects this it activates the laser without the shooter having to consciously think about turning it on or breaking their grip to articulate controls. GripSense can be deactivated if you prefer manual control and the laser is adjustable for windage and elevation.
