Quiet Cans, Polite Prices: Polite Society Ind | CANCON 2026

At CANCON West 2026, @BallisticAviation talks with Sean Burrows of Polite Society Industries about the company’s line of 3D-printed suppressors. A group of industry veterans founded the Tampa, Florida, company in 2026. Its pitch is simple: the $200 federal tax stamp on suppressors went to $0 on January 1, 2026, and buyers should see the savings.

PSI prints its suppressors with laser powder bed fusion from Grade 5 titanium or Inconel 625. The launch lineup includes the Temperance rated for .22 LR, .22 Magnum, 5.7x28, and bolt-action .223. The Fortitude 5.56 in titanium (6.4 oz) or Inconel (11.5 oz), with HUB threads and an integrated flash hider. The Verdict: 7.62 in titanium (8.33 oz) or Inconel (15.4 oz).

And finally, the Huckleberry: a 6.5-inch, 8.6-ounce titanium multi-caliber can with swappable endcaps covering .22 LR through .300 Win Mag.

Every model is backed by PSI’s “Guarantee”: if a part breaks under normal use, the company will repair it, replace it, or refund the buyer.

Looks like a winner. I like his mentality: "It's not a budget suppressor because it's affordable, we can just make it way cheaper with additive manufacturing. The days of 4-digit costs for cans is over." I hope that becomes the case.

The 5.56 can is almost certainly going to be my next one, depending on the backpressure. Their integrated brake hub mounts however will be on every can I own in both thread pitches. Also I contacted them about the mounts and their CS is top notch.
