Benelli's Anti-Drone M4 Shotgun (+Tungsten Ammo): A.I. Drone Guardian

Benelli has just revealed the M4 A.I. Drone Guardian, a combat shotgun specifically designed to take down drones, and now it’s getting an ammo upgrade. At Enforce Tac 2025, James Reeves takes a first look at this purpose-built anti-drone shotgun, optimized for engaging UAV threats at close to medium ranges.

The M4 A.I. Drone Guardian features Benelli’s proprietary A.I. system, a redesigned barrel cone for extended effective range, and compatibility with 12-gauge 3" magnum shells. But here’s where things get wild—Norma has developed a specialized tungsten anti-drone load for this system, designed to shred FPV drones with superior penetration and controlled spread. Available in 18.5-inch and 26-inch barrel configurations, this shotgun is set to be a game-changer for drone defense in military and law enforcement applications.
