[SHOT 2026] Jacob Grey Hex Pro Pistol and Recoil Reaper 1911 Buffer

The two newest products from Jacob Grey Firearms, seen at SHOT Show 2026, were the Hex Pro 9mm pistol and the Recoil Reaper hydraulic drop-in buffer for 1911-pattern pistols. The Hex Pro pistol features Armored Billet CNC-machined and DLC-coated internal and external components, including the ambidextrous safety, ejector, disconnector, magazine release, grip screws, hammer, and sear. The patented Recoil Reaper buffer is designed in collaboration with Kyntech and is compatible with double-stack or single-stack Commander-length 1911s.

Features:

  • Chunk Ported Slide & Barrel. Purpose-driven porting reduces muzzle rise and keeps the pistol tracking flat for faster, more controlled follow-up shots.
  • Armored Billet Ambi Safety. CNC-machined from billet steel, the ambidextrous safety delivers positive engagement, durability, and confidence under hard use.
  • Hexagonal Grip Pattern. The hex grip texture balances traction and comfort, providing secure control without abrasive hotspots.

    With the profusion of these $5000 (and up) 2011 pistols I wonder just who's buying them in the quantities for all these companies to be making them.

      never underestimate the buying power of wannabe hypebeast instagram "influencers", that's pretty much all SHOT show even is now, just a big photo op to farm all those ad revenue and sponsorship clicks
