Designed for small game hunters, the Hunter Series rimfire ammunition will include both a supersonic and subsonic .22 Long Rifle loads. Both options are loaded with 40-grain flat-nose lead Small Game Bullets (SGB). This bullet design is advertised to allow clean harvests without excessive meat damage. The muzzle velocity of the supersonic load is 1,235 fps and the subsonic option throws the 40gr pills at 1,050 fps, not exceeding the speed of sound. This ammo will be sold in blaze-orange 100-count packs.
The Golden Boy Collector’s Edition ammunition comes in a special-edition commemorative packaging. The bulk pack contains 275 rounds of .22LR ammo loaded with 36gr CPHP (Copper-Plated Hollow Point) bullets. This offering is designed to be paired with Henry’s 250th anniversary U.S.A. edition Golden Boy lever-action rimfire rifle.
