The new GX2 replaced the older G2C as Taurus's most affordable concealed carry pistol. It has an improved trigger and adds one more round of capacity than the G2C it replaces, for a total of 13 rounds. Taurus also offers models with 10-round magazines for jurisdictions with capacity restrictions. Black was the only color on display, but a wide range of color options are coming. The MSRP starts at $309.
Moving even smaller in the lineup we have the new 22 TUC. This tip-up barrel .22 LR pistol is slightly larger than the current tip-barrel rimfires made by Taurus. It has a 9-round capacity magazine and a longer grip to accommodate it. Tip-up barrels allow the shooter to load the gun by popping the barrel and inserting the first round rather than having to cycle the slide. Both black and stainless finishes are options for the slide. MSRP is $333 for the black version, and $348 for stainless.
Finally, we have the new range of hammerless revolvers. These guns have fully internal hammers to reduce potential snag points when carried concealed. The trade-off of that design is a double action only trigger pull. Models are available in both .38 Special and .357 Magnum and in both black and stainless. Taurus also offers the option of a 2-inch or 3-inch barrel. All models have 5-round cylinders. MSRPs start at $424 for the black .38 model and go up from there.
