Photo Of The Day: We’ve featured our fair share of heavy hitters over the years, but today we’re looking at a precision rifle that redefines what a compact .50 BMG can be. Meet the Victrix Corvo C.S. – a short-barreled beast built for mission-specific flexibility without compromising on long-range capability.

I would very much like one of these, just for their sheer Italian beauty in combination with brutality. But just like me, I guess you have to settle for this Photo Of The Day, and admire it digitally.

Chambered in .50 BMG (12.7×99mm) with a 1:9.5 twist rate, the Corvo C.S. sports a fluted, match-grade 18-inch barrel. That’s short for the caliber, but probably more than capable.

Tipping the scales at 11.6 kg (25.58 lbs) without a scope, this is highly maneuverable for a .50 cal package. Its folded length of just 945 mm (37.2”) makes it compact.

The suppressor without its protection is a strange-looking thing.

The price? You know the saying, If you have to ask? Despite its compact size, it’s € 11.300,00 plus VAT. At the moment, it is only available in Storm Grey.
