POTD: Danish Frogmen In Action
Photo Of The Day: Frømandskorpset, the Danish Naval Special Warfare Group, continues to represent some of the most capable maritime special operations forces in Europe. Known for their demanding selection process and high operational standards, Frogman operators train for a wide spectrum of missions, from maritime interdiction and underwater reconnaissance to direct action in complex environments.
The unit’s emphasis on precision, discipline, and adaptability ensures it remains ready to deploy at short notice, whether responding to national defense tasks or supporting international security operations. I’m trying to figure out where these images have been taken, but it doesn’t look like Denmark. Somewhere in Norway would be my guess, or possibly the Faroe Islands.
A room with a view can mean many things.
Photographs released by Frømandskorpset highlight operators conducting training that mirrors real-world conditions, reinforcing the unit’s reputation for professionalism and operational readiness.
In case you feel like enlisting, here’s their homepage: https://www.forsvaret.dk/da/organisation/sokom/fkp/
During the Ranger Candidate training, your salary will be approximately $3,200 USD per month, or more, depending on your rank and employment terms. How does that feel?

Whats the rifle in the top image?
Better have their weapons and equipment ready when the Orange Hitler decides to launch a military assault on Greenland. There will be no repetition of 1940, when the Nazis invaded Denmark and forced to surrender in a couple of hours.
Let the Trumpist armies attack Greenland; it will be its Stalingrad.
