TAG Precision has expanded its FiberLok™ product family with the introduction of the all-new FiberLok™ SG Pro Shotgun Sight, a purpose-built front sight designed to deliver faster target acquisition, long-term durability, and consistent performance under recoil. Designed and manufactured entirely in the United States, the SG Pro reflects TAG Precision’s continued focus on shooter-driven innovation across defensive, competitive, and field shotgun applications.

At the core of the SG Pro is TAG Precision’s patented FiberLok™ technology, which addresses one of the most common issues with traditional fiber-optic sights: fiber retention. Unlike conventional designs that rely on melting and mushrooming fiber ends into place, FiberLok™ mechanically secures the fiber optic insert, allowing it to withstand repeated recoil without loosening or failing. The system also allows shooters to remove and replace fiber inserts in seconds, without heat, adhesives, or specialized tools.

I remember having to replace my Glock fiber optic sights once upon a time, from another brand, and it was a nightmare to get it right (I didn’t).

The SG Pro is machined in-house from billet steel, offering a substantial upgrade in durability over polymer or MIM-based shotgun sights. This construction is intended to maintain zero and structural integrity during high round-count use, whether on the range or in competition. The fiber optic provides a bright, highly visible aiming point, improving front-sight focus and speed when engaging moving or reactive targets.

Designed to be broadly compatible, the FiberLok™ SG Pro is suitable for a wide range of shotgun platforms and shooting disciplines, making it a practical upgrade for sporting, defensive, and competition shotguns alike. TAG Precision positions the SG Pro as a simple but effective enhancement rather than an overly complex solution, emphasizing reliability and repeatable performance.

Key features and highlights from the press release:

  • Patented FiberLok™ System

Secure fiber retention helps prevent movement or breakage under heavy recoil, ensuring long-term reliability and consistent sight picture.

  • Interchangeable Fiber Colors

Shooters can quickly change fiber colors using a simple set-screw design to match lighting conditions, backgrounds, or personal preference.

  • Precision-Focused Design

CNC-machined components and a balanced point-of-aim/point-of-impact relationship promote repeatable accuracy and confident target engagement.

  • Built for Hard Use

Constructed from billet steel and finished with a QPQ nitride coating for corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments.

  • Versatile Application

Well-suited for competition, hunting, and tactical use, the FiberLok SG Pro is designed to perform wherever shotguns are pushed hard.

“The FiberLok SG Pro was designed with one goal in mind - to give shooters a front sight they can trust without hesitation,” said Jordon Musser, COO TAG Precision. “It’s bright, durable, and adaptable, and it delivers the kind of performance shooters expect from our products.”

With an MSRP of $32.98, the FiberLok™ SG Pro offers an accessible entry point for those who want to try this system on their shotgun.

The FiberLok™ SG Pro Shotgun Sight is available now through TAG Precision and authorized dealers. Check it out more in detail here: https://tagprecision.com/collections/shotgun/products/fiberlok-sg-pro

You break a target/bird in flight with maintaining a hard focus on the target. This thing will interfere with your focus. This only has purpose on a shotgun designed or built for tactical games on plates or slow movers.
