Spartan Blades - Two Long Gunner Editions of the Harsey Folder
Spartan Blades has introduced two new special editions of the award-winning Spartan-Harsey Folder, each paying tribute to America’s long gunners - the snipers whose precision and discipline have shaped modern warfare. These knives are designed not only as tools but as symbols of service, heritage, and the quiet professionalism of those who have stood the watch.
POTD: Damascus Cerakote SIG 1911X Pistol & Wargoat Knife
Photo Of The Day: SIG Shorts, in collaboration with Montana Knife Company, releases a limited-edition package featuring a SIG Custom Works 1911X and an MKC Wargoat knife, both with a Damascus pattern Cerakote finish. The 1911X includes an optics-ready slide, a single-action trigger, XRAY3 day/night sights, and G10 grips.
The Fat Butcher - The Latest Collab from Backup Tactical and ADV
I think it’s pretty obvious why this one is named as it is. The Fat Butcher from Backup Tactical and legendary bladesmith Andre Devillers have just been announced as the second official OTF release in their combined knife line. Some of you will remember that the Stinger OTF was released just about a year ago, and I was actually very impressed with the build quality, reliability, and the styling of the knife. The Fat Butcher adds a whole new dimension to the blade style and even one or two other tricks that might make it worth picking up for the hardcore blade collector.
The Staccato X Stroup Knives Fixed Blade MK2 Knife
Staccato has collaborated with Stroup Knives on the MK2 fixed blade knife, which is manufactured in the USA. The blade is made from 1095 high-carbon steel, measures 4.5 inches in length, and contributes to an overall knife length of 9.5 inches. This model includes Staccato-specific branding and G10 handle scales. It comes equipped with a Kydex sheath and is intended for applications such as range use, field operations, everyday carry, or heavy-duty tasks.
The HK 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Knife
The fact that Heckler & Koch is celebrating 75 years may have escaped some, but their HK 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Knife is now available for everyone. In short, it features a hand-forged Damascus steel blade from Böker, with each knife individually engraved and numbered from 1 to 75. Only 75 of these knives will ever be made (I wonder where they got that number from?).
POTD: ACW MEUSOC And Toor Knives Crewman
Photo Of The Day - I have a few more hobbies, but I’d probably be just alright if it was limited to knives and firearms only. The Crewman made by Toor Knives is the newest addition to their Frontline Series, and it’s available from $295. This may sound expensive for a knife, but I kind of like it and I would for sure choose the Omaha Tan (pictured) over Bomber Black.
EOTech Partners With Tekto For Custom Knife
EOTECH has partnered with Tekto, a knife manufacturer known for crafting knives designed for demanding tasks, to create the limited-edition F1 Alpha EOTECH Edition. This knife combines durable materials with a functional design, reflecting the qualities both brands are known for.
POTD: The ToorKnives F13 Tommy Tomahawk
We don’t do Tomahawks or knives very often in our Photo Of The Day, but the ToorKnives F13 Tommy Tomahawk seems worthy of an exception. A tomahawk can be a versatile tool for everyday carry (EDC), especially for outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists. Its lightweight design makes it easy to pack or strap to a bag. It can serve multiple purposes, including chopping wood, clearing brush, or prying in emergency situations. I try to keep an axe (with a more traditional look) in my car at all times - at least it’s more compact than a chainsaw!
TFB Review: The Stinger OTF Knife from Backup Tactical
OTF (Out-The-Front) blades are insanely popular these days. While there are tons of low-quality, Chinese-made knockoff OTFs out there, one of my favorite Florida men, Jason Bayne, the owner of Backup Tactical, teamed up with knifemaker Andre De Villers to create the new, American-made Stinger OTF knife. Not only is the Stinger 100% American-machined and assembled, but it also boasts higher-quality steel, precision hand-fit assembly, and is available in four blade styles and four anodized finishes. Jayson was kind enough to send out a knife for me to check out and today we’ll compare it with what I already know about OTF blades to see how this one stacks up as a daily carry knife.
POTD: Winkler Knives Push Dagger EDC
Years ago we did a Photo Of The Day with Winkler Knives, so with regards to the great quality of their product images it’s only fair to run one again. The EDC above is probably too hardcore for the local legislation where I live, with a SIG Sauer pistol, two push daggers and some mace. But I’d probably get away with the Multitasker Tool, a flashlight and the lighter, until they ban those as well for no good reason.
The Newest Durable Fixed Blade from SOG – The Provider FX
The New SOG Provider FX is the latest offering from SOG Knives in the fixed blade category. The Provider FX offers a balance of durability, sleek design, and overall size to give you a knife that can handle camping duty, self-defense, or even help you start processing your filled tags this fall. Kukrax Wildland Knives – The Straightened Kukri Is Now Available

Last year Pearson Industries, the company behind it, announced a couple of more traditional knives, and now they are finally available, as Kukrax Wildland Knives.
Cold Steel Announces NEW Folders in Pro Lite Series
As with all other things, a high-quality knife usually comes with a high price tag. Your sub-$30 Big 5 sale knife will still cut, but not as sharply as the corners cut when it comes to durability, steel quality, and handle materials. Cold Steel has been a big name in the knife world for a long time, and their trusted name garners prices of at least a bill. To make their knives more attainable, or at least make you cry less when you beat them up, Cold Steel has introduced their Pro Lite series, made up of three new folders.
TFB Visits Varusteleka Finland – Europe's Largest Army & Outdoor Shop
TFB Visits Varusteleka Finland – Europe’s Largest Army, Surplus & Outdoor Shop (according to them). Go to Suomi (Finland) they said. It will be fun, they said. Well, there I was in the middle of the Winter. Of course, it snowed, and it was freezing cold. Luckily I got a ride from a local friend in a posh car, with four-wheel drive and heated seats.
Redi-Edge Redi-Lok M-LOK Knife Sharpener
Redi-Edge, a manufacturer of knife sharpeners, has introduced an M-LOK compatible knife sharpening tool called Redi-Lok. This gadget can be attached to an M-LOK slot allowing you to sharpen your knives right on your weapon! Why would anyone need a knife sharpener on their gun? Let’s see if we can find the answer in the company’s description of this product.
