The Fat Butcher - The Latest Collab from Backup Tactical and ADV

I think it’s pretty obvious why this one is named as it is. The Fat Butcher from Backup Tactical and legendary bladesmith Andre Devillers have just been announced as the second official OTF release in their combined knife line. Some of you will remember that the Stinger OTF was released just about a year ago, and I was actually very impressed with the build quality, reliability, and the styling of the knife. The Fat Butcher adds a whole new dimension to the blade style and even one or two other tricks that might make it worth picking up for the hardcore blade collector.

The Fat Butcher - The Latest Collab from Backup Tactical and ADV

Backup Tactical Corp. is excited to announce our 2nd Out The Front Knife collaboration with ADV Tactical (Andre DeVilliers), The FAT Butcher is available now in Black, with more colors in a few weeks. It is nothing less than the first OTF version of Andre's classic Butcher design that took his career in the knife industry to the next level.
This knife has some new features that we are very proud of. It has a very grippy titanium button to open and close the knife with a cut in it for a tritium tube insert so you can see the button in the dark. Tritium inserts will be available on the website soon.
It also has Andre's famous titanium roller pocket clip for easy removal and insertion into your pocket. The difference is this pocket clip has a removable D ring that allows you to attach a lanyard or anything else you may want.
Compared to our last collaboration, The Stinger, the Glass Breaker on the Fat Butcher is a small and sleeker affair that is also removable.
We expect this first run to move very quickly at $399.99 with Free Shipping and no Sales tax Outside of Florida.

Once again, the knives aren’t cheap, and you shouldn’t expect them to be cheap. Like the Stinger, the Fat Butcher is made from high-quality materials like S35VN blade steel and titanium, and features high-quality stylized anodizing as well. Expect a full review of the Fat Butcher here on TFB sometime shortly. I’m really excited to check out the tritium insert feature when it becomes available. For more information, you can visit http://backuptactical.com/ for more blades, as well as the full line of Backup Tactical compensators, barrels, and magazine extensions.
