Armasight Releases The Contractor 320 Lite

Armasight has unveiled its latest iteration in the Contractor series of thermal optics, the Contractor 320 Lite. This 2-8x thermal optic features the advanced ArmaCORE 12 Micron Sensor, offering excellent clarity and precision while being built for maximum performance in the field, according to Armasight. The sensor is said to offer enhanced resolution with a 35% reduction in power consumption, providing up to four hours of continuous use on just two CR123 batteries.
The Contractor 320 Lite has been fitted into a compact, lightweight aluminum housing that the company says will offer portability without sacrificing durability. Using an intuitive turret system, the Contractor 320 Lite was designed for seamless ergonomics, placing control of the digital zoom, color palettes, and reticles right at the shooter's fingertips, a useful feature in rapidly changing environments and darker conditions.
The Armasight Contractor 320 Lite is equipped with a digital compass, rangefinder, and inclinometer, providing precise distance, direction, and angle data. The optic is MIL-STD compliant, meaning it is ruggedized and features all-weather reliability, making the Contractor 320 Lite a resilient yet lightweight option in harsh environments.
One of the features I was happy to see incorporated is Shot-Activated Recording. While the Contractor 320 Lite does have a rubberized external record button, Shot-Activated Recording allows you to capture critical moments automatically by sensing when a shot is fired and automatically saving a recording of the image starting several seconds prior.

Man, these guys are in so much trouble. The recent wave of 320 Chinese thermals are like a thousand bucks or less. While tariffs may impact that, they're still going to be half the price of this thing.
