Nighthawk Custom & Korth Release Mongoose Silver .357 Magnum Revolver
Here below the full Press Release:
The new offering from Nighthawk Custom and Korth is the Mongoose Silver. This revolver offered in 4” or 6” barrel configurations. Chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special, the cylinder holds six rounds of ammunition. As you know, Korth Revolvers provides a level of versatility not seen in any other revolver on the market.
This is a revolver that harkens back to the days when a revolver was a hand-built piece of functioning art. The frame and all parts are fully machined from the finest billet steel available, and hand built by a single gunsmith. The trigger face is high polished, and the Roller Trigger is one of the most awe-inspiring aspects of this pistol that provides an unmatched trigger feel in either single or double action.
A Lothar Walther cold-forged polygon barrel is used for both extreme accuracy and performance. The Mongoose Silver is finished in a beautiful Silver DLC, as the superior material, increased polishing, and meticulous craftmanship are clearly evident through the whole revolver.
Specifications for 6″:
- Finish: Silver DLC Coated
- Caliber: .357 Magnum, 9mm Cylinder Optional (Clipless)
- Weight: 2.1 lbs.
- Barrel Length: 6”
- Overall Length: 11.5”
- Width: 1.54”
- Height: 6.1”

The Mongoose Silver is certainly a pretty revolver, recalling the traditional shape of older Korth models. The main, notable, difference with those being the cylinder opening lever, more similar to the S&W design. Good looks and quality however are not cheap, and he MSRP of this revolver starts at $5,549.00, with Limited Availability.
As usual, let us know in the comments if you’d love, or not, to add this snake slayer to your collection.

hmmm swing and a miss. Korth is usually very recognizable. this is not. there is nothing aesthetically or mechanically special about it at all. No one could look at it from a distance and say "thats a korth" unlike their "1911"
Korth also has a .44mag that graces the cover of Guns Magazine and it is truely a work or art as well as a special workpiece.
