[SHOT 2020] KRG new rimfire stocks

Precision stocks for rimfires

New from Kinetic Research Group (KRG) for 2020 is the KRG Bravo stock made to fit both the Ruger 10/22 and the CZ 457. MSRP starts at $249 intro pricing for the 10/22 Bravo and $369 for the CZ-457 Bravo. The 10/22 stock weighs in at 2.8lb, and the 457 at 2.9lb. The 10/22 stock would be good for a youth fit, with a minimum LOP of only 11.1″. Colors will be red, grey, FDE and black for the Ruger and green, grey, FDE and black for the 457. This author is currently testing a Bravo stock with a Tikka T1x, and can say with confidence it is an excellent piece of gear.

Further rounding out rimfire options in the Bravo Stock will be a new tool-less LOP for the Bravo stock, operated by two throw levers. However, KRG recommends that people primarily use this in rimfire platforms.

X-Ray for X-tra accuracy

Also new is their Gen 4 X-Ray stock. Inletted for both Remington 700 SA and LA calibers, as well as Tikka T3 SA calibers, the Gen 4 features tool-less cheekpiece and buttpad height adjustments. It is also a lightweight stock, coming in at 3.1lbs. MRSP will start at introductory pricing of $449. The Gen 4 X Ray uses ARCA rails, and can accommodate KRG’s new heavy angled bag rider as well.

The Fox-42 Semiautomatic precision rifle project beta testing is still going strong. With a good number of rifles out there in the field getting shot for over a year, any foreseeable issue will have been dealt with by the time this rifle hits the market.

Nice, the Bravo models remind me of the SAKO TRG 22/42 stock.

I have to say I'm really excited about this one, the 10/22 has very few if any good chassis options. I am interested to check out if the X-ray rear is compatible with the front end, I have an extra one laying around and I'd love to get a 10/22 into an x-ray.
