POTD: The 11” M27 Reconnaissance Weapons Kit - US Recon Marines
In today’s POTD, U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Hunter Serrano, a point man with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, sends rounds downrange with his M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle in the 11” RWK configuration, during a live-fire training session at Camp Pendleton, California. This is the first time I’ve ever seen the RWK with an EOTech sight and a magnifier.
Henry Honors USMC With Tribute Rifle
Guess what happened 250 years ago? A United States Marine Corps veteran will tell you—back in 1775, the USMC was founded. Now, Henry Repeating Arms is honoring those two-and-a-half centuries of service around the world with the Spirit of the Corps Tribute Edition rifle.
POTD: Recon Marines with M27RWK in Latvia
Photo Of The Day. Every Day a Photo. One Day a Photo. No Days without a Photo. In all honesty, we do take a bit of a rest over the weekend, but we’re with you almost every day of the week and we hope you like it. The new M27RWK deserves every bit of attention - even when it’s plugged for blank firing - especially when it swims through the cold sea and appears on the shores of Latvia.

POTD: M16A4 In Rifle and Pistol Competition
Photo Of The Day and here’s another M16A4 in action, in the hands of a U.S. Marine as he shoots a rifle bay for the Parris Island Intramural Rifle and Pistol Competition on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island S.C. I’m not sure what this shooting position might be called, or if you have ideas on what to name it?
POTD: Recon Marines Armed with M27 Reconnaissance Weapons Kits (RWK)
TFB’s Photo Of The Day - the gift that keeps on giving every day. Here we have U.S. Marines with the M27 Reconnaissance Weapons Kit (RWK) variant of the M27 / HK416 with an 11.0” barrel, Trijicons and lasers. We see them participating in a live fire range during a combat marksmanship program range as part of exercise Koa Moana 24 at Joint Range Complex, Ngatpang, Palau, 2024.
