I know what you’re thinking, not another AR-15 review, because that’s what I was (albeit very briefly) thinking as I sat down to write this, but my time with the new Springfield Armory Saint Victor 11.5” 5.56 Pistol has been positive enough to compel my hand, or hands in this case. As it was my first time shooting a Springfield AR, I set aside peer reviews from previous models and focused on my personal experience with this new pistol variant, one that I found very useful as a general setup for anyone looking for home defense or a great time at the range.

Springfield Armory has two SAINT Victor pistols currently available - a 11.5” 5.56 NATO and a 5.5” 9mm - and today this family of firearms is getting bigger. Springfield has announced an additional SAINT Victor 8.5” 9mm pistol as well.

The Springfield Armory Kuna is a compact 9mm PDW with a modern design. Built around a monolithic aluminum upper, it features a roller-delayed blowback system. The Kuna uses a fixed, cold hammer-forged 6-inch barrel with a Melonite finish for durability and consistent accuracy. The platform includes a reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle that folds down when not in use, along with ambidextrous controls for the safety, magazine release, and bolt release.

Springfield Armory has announced a new limited-release rifle that is coming in hot with some strong peanut drip in the Model 2020 Heatseeker. This rifle looks to blur the lines between target shooting, competition, and a hunter’s wet dream.

My 2025 bingo card did not have a roller-delayed PDW coming out of the factories of Springfield Armory, but here we are! Springfield Armory has had a decades-long legacy of manufacturing small arms, such as the 1911, M1A, AR-15, Hi-Power, and more. Now we have something befitting a James Bond movie or Secret Service detail in the Kuna 9mm pistol. Follow me through my journey of reviewing this firearm in preparation for its announcement today. Many of you saw our very own James Reeves galavanting around Europe on TFBTV, and coming across the Kuna: a 9mm roller-delayed pistol. Now, the Springfield Armory Kuna 9mm is officially stateside in the US, and looks to be a true contender in the PCC space for 9mm shooters and range enthusiasts alike.

After a period of some hot-and-cold legislation on whether braces are legal or not - or your AR-15 pistol is actually an SBR or not - we’re hopefully in the clear where we can have AR-15 pistols again in all of their glory. As a result, we are seeing manufacturers bring back inspiring AR-15 pistol options. This includes Springfield Armory with their new Saint Victor Pistol in 5.56 NATO that was announced today.

In an announcement earlier today that many of us never saw coming, the legendary and long-tenured TRP (Tactical Response Pistol) has some new brethren in the family. Springfield Armory has introduced the 9mm cartridge to the TRP series of handguns as well as the Agency Optics System of mounting red dots (AOS). The FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team was the original motivator or impetus for this design, and now flash forward 20+ years and we find ourselves here today looking at a sharpened and evolved 1911 handgun. So, today we are going to take a look at the Springfield Armory 1911 TRP AOS 4.25” Carry Contour 9mm to see how it truly performs. Let’s dive in!

Springfield is fresh off of the high from SHOT Show and they’re delivering to us yet another new grouping of handguns to add to their ever expansive portfolio of arms. If you love yourself some 50 Shades of FDE, then you will be happy to hear that Springfield Armory is now making their 1911 DS Prodigy Comp AOS 9mm handguns in a Coyote Brown colorway. 

Springfield Armory got back into the lab and answered a request from many shooters who loved the original offering of the SAINT Victor 9mm rifle, but desired it to be smaller. TA-DA! Now, Springfield has unveiled their SAINT Victor 9mm pistol which gives us all of the same attributes, but in a more compact aesthetic.

Springfield Armory just dropped the Kuna, a brand-new roller-delayed blowback pistol-caliber carbine that brings military-grade durability at a shockingly low price. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia—the same company behind the Springfield Echelon and VHS-2—this PCC is built for serious reliability and performance. 

Springfield Armory Announces Gear Up Promotion for Hellcat, Hellcat Pro, Echelon, SAINT, and Hellion

Springfield Armory introduced the Echelon series of pistols in 2023. Like in the case of their other product lines, they have been constantly expanding the Echelon line releasing new configurations, colors and variants like the 4.0C compact pistol. At SHOT Show 2025, the company announced the   Flat Dark Earth (FDE) and   Olive Drab Green (ODG) color options of the Echelon 4.0C 9mm pistol.

In the doldrums of winter, there is not always a lot going on. Not a lot to do outside if you aren’t a fan of the cold white stuff, and not a lot crossing our news wire as writers looking to present new, rad stuff to you. That is, until SHOT Show approaches. As the “2nd coming of Christmas” nears, new product announcements are aplenty! The newest of which is the Springfield Armory Prodigy Compact. This 2011-style handgun in a diminutive frame size boasts ammo capacity plus concealability. So, today we are going to take a look at the new Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy Compact 3.5” 9mm pistol to see how it fares a Minnesota winter and range test. Let’s dive in!

Today, they have announced their new 1911 DS Prodigy Compact handguns which will bolster their already large family of Prodigy pistols.
