I am certain that not a single top shooter, regardless of discipline, leaves their sporting tool (read: firearm) unchanged. This is no exception, especially as the owner knows how to weld. For TFB’s Photo Of The Day, we revisit the IPSC PCC World Shoot from earlier this year.

Alright, let’s have some fun poking at white AR-15s, those pristine, alabaster rifles that look like they’re ready for a photoshoot at a hipster coffee shop. I mean, who paints their AR-15 white?

The PSC-12. JP Enterprises doesn't make this model any longer. It was a version of the (still existing) LRP-07, but with the addition of a side-charger. There may have been changes, but the combination of a side-charger - while still keeping the original charging handle in its original place - made me go for this model. The Magpul Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish was applied at the factory. I’ve made some modifications, like a Magpul K2+ grip in FDE and a Magpul ARCA rail, to enhance the performance for DMR shooting. I also added a Triggertech two-stage trigger, which works great unless you set the trigger pull below its tolerance.
