Strike Industries Embraces The Old Ways With New Quad Rail Handguard
Strike Industries is known for making some very out-of-the-box items, but this new handguard heads in the other direction. The Strike M4 Quad Rail Handguard mounts on standard carbine ARs, and adds additional rail space within the front sight assembly. Keep reading for all the details.

Strike’s M4 Quad Rail mounts on the traditional delta ring assembly on guns with carbine-length gas systems. A secondary clamping mechanism sits inside the front sight assembly. Extended side rails mounted to that clamp allow for accessory attachments further forward, which is particularly useful for weapon lights. It also has two QD sling cups at the rear of the handguard for sling mounting.

Reed Knight showed almost the exact thing in 1985. I'd first cut off or get rid of the front sight AND rear so I could use what I wanted there. I love the quad rail so I can add/remove anything I need fast & pre-set. All I need is 4 or more hand guards to cut where I want to mount/replace any extras. This is an ideal go-piece for law enforcement (and friends) out to 100 yards! If your AR doesn't have a delta ring it looks like you could just clamp it where it would the ring would normally be and have a small space. I'd check with Strike. I have similar, but a little longer plus a can.
