Yankee Hill Machine Co. announced its new Victra-12 shotgun suppressor a few weeks ago, and it made its first public appearance at SHOT Show 2025. They even had models shown in both the long and short configurations. We got to take a look at it in person and get some photos for your perusal.

SHOT 2025 @ TFB:

Shotgun silencers have to contend with some additional complications compared to pistol and rifle silencers. Shotguns fire many projectiles at once, generally contained in a plastic cup called a wad. Shooters match the size and weight of the shot pellets to the task they are doing, and they also need to match how tight that pattern of shot is at the intended target distance.

Choke tubes sit in a shotgun’s muzzle and offer different levels of constriction. Yankee Hill’s design uses the choke tube threads in the shotgun barrel to mount the silencer. The chokes are replaceable and fit in the front end of the silencer rather than being built into the mount.

The Victra-12 has an eccentric design with the bore running through the top of the silencer. With the suppressor mounted on a Benelli M4, the sights were still fully visible thanks to this design. The Victra-12 will be shipping at the end of Q1, so look for it soon. The retail price is $959.

From the manufacturer:

The YHM Victra™-12 shotgun suppressor is the result of YHM’s leading design, engineering and technology capabilities in the field of firearm suppression.
The Victra-12 features a modular design, meaning the user can remove sections to best meet their needs for sound suppression, firearm balance, weight and length. In the full 12” configuration, the Victra-12 reduces most commercial shotgun loads to 135 dB at the shooter’s ear. Most users will also note a decrease in felt recoil, which allows the shooter to concentrate on the target.
The VICTRA-12 attaches to the host firearm via the factory choke threads using our VICTRA Mounts. The mounts do not choke the shot. This happens at the muzzle of the suppressor. A variety of chokes are available.
