Surefire had some new products on display at SHOT Show 2025. They included several lights and a new suppressor mounting option. Keep reading for all the details.

SHOT 2025 @ TFB:

First up is the XC-3 weapon light. It is a compact pistol light that fits the TLR-7 footprint. One 123A battery powers it, and the battery loads from the front so it can be changed without taking the light off of the gun. The XC-3 produces 550 lumens and 7,200 candela, and the listed run time is 1.75 hours. It also boasts an IPX-7 water resistance rating.

Another new product this year is the Fast-Attach Hub. It fits standard Hub-threaded suppressors and adapts them for mounting on Surefire muzzle devices. Surefire makes it in both 5.56 and 7.62 diameters for the differently-sized muzzle devices. Both retail for $299.

This last product is more for the law enforcement sector than the commercial sector. Surefire has a new illumination tool for use on ballistic shields. The Ballistic Shield Light clamps onto the edge of the shield and uses Surefire remote switches for control. It can use both 123A or 18650 rechargeable batteries, for 1,100 or 1,500 lumens, respectively. It retails for $899.

From the manufacturer:

Lightweight, compact, and robust, the XC3 is ideal for duty use as well as concealed-carry handgun applications. It is engineered to perform in any high-stress, low-light environment where positive ID is imperative, and its slim, compact form factor is compatible with many commercially available holsters already on the market. The XC3's premium LED generates 550 lumens and 7,200 candela of intense white light shaped a Hybrid Beam pattern that delivers the ideal combination of distance and surround light at handgun distances, so you can maintain focus on any threat while remaining aware of your surroundings.

So, Surefire came out with a Streamlight TLR-7X clone with essentially half the output of the TRL-7 HL-X and twice the price?

Got it. Sounds just like Surefire.

Late to market, lower performance than their competitors, and 2-3 times the price. What are Surefire thinking? They can't coast on their name forever. I can buy a TLR 7 and a Rearden hub for around $200; the $400 saved is almost enough to buy a suppressor.
