POTD: Two Genesis Gen-12 Shotguns - One 1650 Pelican Case
Photo Of The Day: Dual-wielding isn't just for action movies anymore. Savior Equipment's new SUP28 case insert manages to accomplish what seemed geometrically impossible: fitting two complete Genesis Arms Gen-12 systems into a single Pelican 1650, creating the kind of redundant firepower that would make any tactical team smile.
The Gen-12 brings a short recoil operation system that delivers an exceptionally fast cyclic rate, turning follow-up shots into a seamless blur of controlled aggression. Built around the ubiquitous DPMS Gen1 AR-10 lower, they run with familiar ergonomics and magazine-fed reliability, accepting both 2.75 and 3-inch shells.
The shotgun is threaded for Huxwrx suppressors and topped with an EOTech optic and laser. EOTech sights normally have a reticle that is quite suitable for the spread a shotgun provides at certain distances, and the center dot will provide guidance for the slugs. The Burn Proof Gear suppressor cover is probably quite nice to have, as the Huxwrx is sure to heat up rather quickly.
When I instruct, I usually tell my students that the shotgun is the most violent firearm we’re allowed to own. I am sure there are a few exceptions in the World, but it’s still a pretty accurate description.
