POTD: The Quarter Circle 10 QC-5 and QC-10 Pistol Caliber Carbines

Today, we’re looking at the Quarter Circle 10, a pistol caliber carbine with no interest in being ordinary. Most Quarter Circle 10s are designed around the Glock magazine pattern, however, there are other magazine solutions as well, as you can clearly see in this Photo Of The Day. The MP5-like PCC is also a Quarter Circle 10, with an AR9 MP5 Upper and Lower Receiver - let’s name it the QC-5!. Note the AC-Unity MP5-style magazine for 9 mm.

With billet-machined receivers, proprietary feed geometry, and a slick blowback system, the QC10 is a favorite among a lot of competitors and professional shooters. Add in ambidextrous controls, precision tolerances, and the kind of modularity you'd expect from a high-tier AR platform, and you've got a serious contender in the PCC world.

Below you can see a detailed look at the Quarter Circle QC-5, with the new Shooter’s Global Timer 2, which is doing really well in our upcoming review.

The QC-5 in action, spitting 9 mms.

Which style do you prefer for your PCC? Glock or MP5? I actually prefer the look of the MP5, but it makes it a little harder to change magazines with speed.
