POTD: Gold and Silver - Taran Tactical's 30-Unit Exclusive
Taran Tactical Innovations has built its reputation on limited-edition exclusivity, and this Viper set represents that philosophy distilled into its most literal form: two pistols, one box, thirty examples worldwide. Photographed at EnforceTac 2026, this particular pairing presents the stark contrast TTI favors in their collector-tier releases. One pistol wears a polished silver finish, the other a high-luster gold, each occupying a custom-fitted space in the presentation case.
Taran Tactical, under the direction of competition shooter Taran Butler, has positioned itself as the builder for shooters who refuse compromise between performance and finish quality. Butler's background spans USPSA competition at the highest levels, and that demand for precision engineering translates directly into every pistol that leaves the shop.
What's visible here is enough: a matched pair of 2011 platform pistols, each finished to a level of refinement that suggests extensive hand work and quality control that separates TTI's output from volume production.
