JagerWerks Adds Aimpoint COA Milling Service for Glocks

If you've got a standard-frame or Slimline Glock without an optic cut and you've been wanting to run an Aimpoint Acro, JagerWerks just added a service that's worth knowing about. The Michigan-based slide shop has launched the Aimpoint COA cut, a direct-milling service that opens up the Acro P-1, P-2, and other Acro-footprint optics on Glocks that weren't set up for it from the factory.

Aimpoint COA @ TFB:

One thing to know going in: this service is limited to Standard Frame and Slimline models with no existing optic cut or optic-ready solution. If you're running a G17L or G41 with the relief cut underneath, you're out of luck here.

Buyers can choose between two iron sight configurations. The behind-optic setup ships with irons from Angry Bear Arms. The front-of-optic option runs a modified Angry Bear Arms rear sight, reworked by JagerWerks and black nitride coated. JagerWerks notes they're "quite happy with how it turned out," which, coming from a shop that doesn't usually talk like a marketing department, is probably about as enthusiastic as it gets.

Coating is optional but strongly recommended. JagerWerks is direct about it: send a slide back bare and you're accepting the rust risk. Black Nitride runs $55, with Cerakote options starting at $60 and running up to custom multi-color finishes in the $130 range. Lead time is listed at 4-8 weeks with an additional 1-3 weeks if you add coating, which is normal for a shop doing this kind of work.

The base service price is $175. For that, JagerWerks will also do disassembly and reassembly at no extra charge, and if you include your optic, barrel, and recoil spring, they'll laser-align the sights for free.

Which Glock model would you send in for this, and are you going with the behind-optic or front-of-optic iron sight configuration?
