Glock Announces Hunter Edition G45 And G20 Variants

Just in time for international trade shows, Enforce Tac, IWA, and WBK International, Glock has announced a new series of Hunter Edition pistols dressed in olive green. The new handguns feature steel sights, threaded barrels, and the option to have the new Aimpoint COA optic installed from the factory. Hunter Edition handguns will be available in five variants according to Glock and will be based on the 9mm Glock 45 and 10mm Glock 20 models.
Hunter Edition 9mm variants announced thus far include three handguns based on the Glock 45. Each of these models comes equipped with a metric pattern threaded barrel and steel sights.
The most decked out of the trio is the Hunter Edition G45 equipped with the new Aimpoint COA optic, a collaboration on standard models between Glock and Aimpoint announced just before SHOT Show 2025 in January. This version will also be equipped with Glock's new 600-lumen Glock's new 600-lumen Tactical Light II.
Next in the Hunter Edition G45 lineup is another A-CUT COA equipped model, but this time without the edition of Glock’s Tactical Light II.
Lastly, the Hunter Edition G45 will also be available with Glock’s traditional MOS optics cut.
Next up are the Hunter Edition 10mm Glock 20 Gen 5 models. These two differ from the 9mm models in that they do not come with threaded barrels, nor is there an option for the A-Cut Aimpoint COA. These 10mm versions both feature Glock’s standard MOS optics cut, and the two versions available ship with or without the Glock Tactical Light II.
It is not clear yet what the price will be or which magazines and how many will come with the Hunter Editions, but if you’re a stateside Glock fan like I am, then hold your horses because we could be in for a wait. As of now, these models have only been released in Europe, with no indication as to when or if we will see them in the US.
I’d bet we will see some versions of the Glock Hunter Edition pistols here in the US, hopefully in time for NRAAM in late April. Let us know your thoughts on the Hunter Edition and what you might like to see in the future from Glock.
