Bond Arms Introduces A Hideout Gun With Presidential Bling

Have you ever thought that you needed a hideout gun that bedazzles your opponent with presidential bling, giving you the advantage in a firefight? Sounds like a niche market, for sure, but apparently Bond Arms figures there’s a buyer for such a weapon, and has introduced the DT47 Satin Package version of their double-barrel derringer platform.
Derringer derring-do @ TFB:
A very familiar face
This handgun wears a familiar face, literally. President Donald Trump’s profile is etched onto the side of the barrels (hence the DT47 label).
It’s also very familiar because Bond has been building these double-barreled derringer-style handguns for a while now, with a break-action design just like the classic riverboat gambler guns of the 1800s. This one is made on their Hand Cannon design, with a modern trigger guard and barrels in .45LC/.410.
They actually had a DT47 model before, introduced after Trump’s election, but this version has a satin finish instead of the shiny finish of the previous version. That drives the price up considerably higher than the original DT47, which is on sale for $545.47 at the time of writing. The Satin package version has an MSRP of $947, although Bond Arms has knocked $100 off at introduction. It does come with a holster, as seen in the lead photo, so that certainly helps justify the added expense.
Otherwise, it’s pretty much the same idea, with not-so-subtle slogans branded all over the piece, and although the whole thing was certainly not based on practicality, there will still be buyers. See more details here.

Just in time to protect you from a one-way flight to a Salvadoran gulag?
For the relatively few progressives in the world who like guns, a company called Authoritarian Arms is going to offer a limited run of 666 firearms festooned with the words "The 3rd Reich" and the faces of Hitler & Mussolini on one side, and the words "The 4th Reich" with Obama's and Biden's visages on the other.
It's rumored they'll also include a challenge coin with some of the many quotes praising Hitler from progressive U.S. news articles of the 1930s.
