Blackhawk Introduces Streamlight TLR-7A Flex & TLR1-HL Lights
Company collaborations, just like a song with Timbaland, can lead to some pretty great products. Aside from the people with no respect for safety who shoot blindly at dark shapes in their homes, we all understand the need for a flashlight. Different applications change what kind of light you need. Sometimes a handheld is the way to go, and sometimes you want your light attached to your gun. Are you clearing rooms or carrying it on your concealed pistol? For the latter two scenarios, Blackhawk has collaborated with Streamlight to bring you two lights for use with your Blackhawk holsters. These are the Blackhawk Streamlight TR-7A Flex and TLR1-HL.

Blackhawk®, a leader in law enforcement and military equipment for over 20 years, has partnered with Streamlight® to deliver two tactical weapon lights, the TLR1-HL® and TLR-7A Flex®. Already popular among shooters, both Streamlight models are designed to fit several Blackhawk holsters, most notably the Blackhawk T-Series. In addition, the TLR1-HL is compatible with the Blackhawk Omnivore holster.

Depending on how you shoot, the TLR-7A Flex has ergonomic switches that allow for a high or low position. The on/off switch is ambidextrous, and the light features a “safe off” feature to preserve your batteries.

The sad truth, am a Blackhawk fanboi, damn it. Never thought I
would admit to such a secret love, but have use many other brands and
their designs seem to fit best. Not just like a couple of hookers
hands around my thigh but that that sticky little finger release can
take place with my eyes closed and a smile on my face. Only problem
was my factory supplied toy, with threaded barrel and suppressor sights,
would not fit. I had to make an adjustment so my big unit could slide
in-and-out as if It was greased with some Vasaline.
I bought some Blackhawk holster a year ago, never used it. Its suppose
to fit the X300 light as the locking mechanism. Bought it new, in the blister package from the hawk shop. Anyone got one of
these?
Have never found a X300 for sale that didn't cost a fortune, so I haven't used it yet.
