POTD: NSSF SHOT Show Infographic for 2018
If you have ever attended SHOT Show recently you know that you better put on your walking shoes. It is huge! Just how huge?… Like, the size of the New Orleans Saints’ Superdome huge! The title sponsor for SHOT Show, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), compiled an impressive list of statistics in an all-encompassing SHOT Show Infographic.
Drawing comparisons from when the show originally began in 1979 in St. Louis to the present day, you can see the gravity of the growth and colossal size it has become.
While the sheer size in square footage and potential miles you could walk are impressive, what jumps out at me is the fact that SHOT Show is only the 19th largest tradeshow in the United States. You have to wonder what 18 other industries command a tradeshow even larger than SHOT Show?…
The NSSF’s SHOT Show Infographic gives you a pretty good taste of what it is like to be there if you have not had the opportunity to attend.
Sound off in the comments and let us know which statistic (or potentially absent statistic) impresses you the most!

I thought infographics were supposed to have graphs and/or visual representations of data. This looks like a list of facts in .jpg but maybe I'm expecting too much.
Still interesting info nonetheless, thanks to whoever put it all together.
12.5 miles of aisles. Hope you guys stretched and didn’t pull a hammy. 😱
