KelTec’s venerable Sub2000 has a new caliber, the 5.7x28! This is the first bottleneck cartridge to be chambered in the Sub2000 family. This is also a Gen 3 model, which folds like all of the other Sub200 models but also has a rotating front end to allow optics mounting.

KelTec @ TFB:

The 5.7x28 Sub2000 uses the FN Five-Seven magazine pattern, so it is compatible with a wide range of factory and aftermarket magazines. But unlike many other guns in that caliber, it has a full 16-inch barrel. That will boost muzzle velocity substantially compared to other pistol and PCC models with shorter barrels. The barrel is also threaded 1/2x28 for a muzzle device or silencer.

Not only is the Sub2000 a compact gun in its folded configuration, but it is also lightweight. It weighs in at only 4.36 pounds. The Sub2000 5.7x28 has an MSRP of $511.

Would be great if 7.5 FK BRNO was adopted and offered in more PDW type stuff, I would imagine that it could crap all over rimless centerfire .22wmr/5.7.x28. I can imagine with the right powders and projectiles and taking advantage of a 12-16" barrel it could really slap, maybe even a 7.5 Magnum could be the type of round that could put 5.56 in it's grave, with much shorter rounds, using less powder, mags that fit in the grip making the weapon significantly shorter or some sort of a bullpup that works with the round and breach ahead of the trigger.
