The Spartan-Ronin F/S Dagger is a modern interpretation of the classic Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, developed by Spartan Blades in collaboration with Tu Lam. The design reflects a focus on practical use, drawing from both historical patterns and contemporary materials.

At a press conference, on 12 December, the Slovak Republic’s armed forces presented an entirely new suite personal weapons. In addition to new weapons, a new uniform design with a completely new camouflage pattern was also introduced. New personal equipment including vests, boots, plate carriers, helmets and load bearing kit were also introduced by Slovakia’s Minister of Defence (and Deputy Prime Minister) Robert Kaliňák. During the announcement four soldiers paraded wearing the new kit and carrying the new firearms.

I don’t know who came up with the font for the Slovakian Stribog SP9A3G logotype printed on the side, but I‘ve seen better. It’s still a pretty sharp pistol caliber carbine, and Stribogs have left pretty deep scars on owners of much more expensive and much more dedicated PCCs. The Grand Power Stribog has grown from a curiosity to a staple in the pistol caliber carbine (PCC) market. It started out as simply a blowback-operated 9mm, but is now a whole family of guns. I saw the new-at-the-time SP45A3 at SHOT 2024 and received one for review late in 2024.

James Reeves talks to the guys at Grand Power about the 10mm Stribog: A variant of the Stribog line of firearms, chambered in the 10mm Auto cartridge. The Stribog is produced by Grand Power, a Slovakian firearms manufacturer known for its innovative designs and high-quality production. The original Stribog models, such as the SP9A1, were chambered in 9mm, but due to the popularity of the platform and demand for more powerful calibers, a 10mm version has been a topic of interest among firearms enthusiasts.

Photo Of The Day and we have a bunch of action shots from Bulletstorm II, the first Swedish Championship in IPSC PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine). A two-day, twelve-stage, level three competition with over 200 competitors and 30 teams. All the team fees were donated to Ukraine. 

The popular Grand Power Stribog is…popular. It’s had several updates over the years but perhaps none so significant as this: Glock magazine compatibility. James Reeves got to check out the Glock mag compatible version at IWA 2022, and he brings the info to you.

JTAC Industries recently launched a brand new bullpup lower receiver for the Stribog SP9-A3 pistol that also accepts CZ Scorpion pattern magazines. JTAC reports that their Stribog Bullpup Lower doesn’t require any modification to the Stribog upper, and installs via two bolts and two pins. They also stated that their bullpup lower is not a serialized part, and thus, can be shipped directly to customers without the need to go through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).

Last month, Global Ordnance announced that they are taking over importation of Grand Power firearms. Previously Eagle Imports was importing Grand Power into the US. At last week’s Big 3 East media event, Global Ordnance had two Stribog SP9A1 out for us to shoot and their pseudo prepper Canmunition.

Recent news from the National Police of Ukraine and local Ukrainian websites were full of reports concerning seizures of illegal firearms. The diversity of types and origins of these firearms is amazing. I decided to combine all the information from these news reports into a single article and present it to our readers.
