SHOT Show Anniversary: The Sellmark Story
SHOT Show is generally a time for new, new new: New guns, new ammo, new optics, new scopes. But for one company, it’s a birthday celebration; Sightmark celebrates its anniversary at SHOT Show, as that’s where it was born, at SHOT Show in 2007. But the company’s roots actually go back much further, as its parent company, Sellmark, is celebrating 25 years of business this year. Founder James Sellers says the company is successful today for the same reason they’ve managed to build what they’ve done so far: They sell products in a market they’re passionate about, while offering value to the customer.

TFB Review: Delta Optical Stryker HD 1-10x28 SDOG-1 (MRAD) Riflescope
This is a review of the Delta Optical Stryker HD 1-10x28 SDOG-1 (MRAD) riflescope. This is a compact Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) with a reticle in the First Focal Plane (FFP), parallax adjustment and exposed lockable turrets. The brand Delta Optical is from Poland, but this sight is Made In Japan. When asking around, the brand is typically described as offering optics with a blend of wide magnification, illuminated reticles, good twilight performance, sharp optics, and affordability. There is always a strong demand for high-quality optics at reasonable prices, and there are many reasons to include Delta when you’re on the market for new glass.
TFB Review: INTEGRIX IX8 1-8X28 LPVO
A while back, Leapers reached out to the crew at The Firearm Blog and asked if anybody would be interested in reviewing one of their new 1-8 LPVOs. I was particularly intrigued by this, as I was not aware that Leapers/Integrix was creating military spec optics, and I thought that they only made scopes for airsoft guns or pellet rifles. I have already done a first impressions piece on the INTEGRIX IX8 1-8X28 LPVO that you can read here. I will be briefly going over the specs here so if you want more of that information, check out the first impressions piece.

TFB Review: Anubis 34mm One-piece Scope Mount
Mounting and moving optics around is a very common thing for a gun writer. I am always on the lookout for new scopes and mounts to use in reviews. When the opportunity to review the Anubis Defense “The One” scope mount came around, I jumped at the chance.
C&H Precision's New Rifle Optics – Big Dots, Small Dots, and MPVOs
C&H Precision brought a whole new set of dedicated rifle optics to SHOT Show 2024 including a new MPVO and two new carbine-ready red dots. The new MPVO or LVPO will feature a 2-12 magnification range on a 44mm tube along with an illuminated reticle, parallax adjustment, and locking windage and elevation turrets for quick and secure adjustments. Meanwhile, the new ERD-1 and ERD-2 are two red dots with two different missions. The ERD-1 delivers a gigantic viewing window and multiple reticle options, while the ERD-2 is a compact, lightweight, and auto-adjusting red dot that sips on batteries and keeps your carbine ready to go whenever you are.

TFB Review: Sightron S-Tac 1-4.5×24 SR-1 Service Rifle Scope
Sightron is the newest entrant in the world of purpose-built competition service rifle scopes. Their S-Tac 1-4.5×24 SR-1 is not a general-purpose low-power variable optic. It is meant for standard bullseye targets at NRA or CMP matches. I spent a summer shooting it in competitions to see how it performs, and it is time to share my results.
