C+H Precision Releases Modular Ring Mount For Optics
C&H Precision Weapons has a new line of modular ring mounts for attaching red dots to scope tubes. Rather than place the secondary optic on top of the scope ring, C&H placed it on a ring so it could be placed anywhere on the main tube. This also allows it to sit at any angle.
Contingencies: Upgrading With Meprolight Tru-Dot Irons to Co-Witness
In recent years, the use of red dot sights on handguns has gained significant popularity among most shooters regardless of their preferred platform, or shooting sport. Just 10 years ago finding an optic on a handgun was still fairly rare outside of the competition world and absolutely unheard of in the concealed carry market. Reflex sights provide several advantages, including increased accuracy, faster target acquisition, and improved shooting speed. However, combining red dot optics with co-witnessed iron sights can offer even greater benefits for shooters seeking versatility and reliability even beyond the simple concept of redundancy. Let’s face it, today’s red dot optics are extremely reliable, and in most cases, you won’t have to rely on your co-witnessed irons. So In this article, we will explore why utilizing co-witness sights in tandem with your red dot-equipped handgun is a good practice to adopt. To accomplish this we’ll be using a Glock 45 MOS handgun and Meprolight’s Tru-Dot series of replacement iron sights with a specific focus on their suppressor height sights which will serve as my co-witness sights.

NEW Trijicon Dual Defense Kit – RMR & Night Sights
Many people are often trepidatious about adopting a red dot into their regular carry or duty setup. While iron sights don’t require batteries and have been around nearly as long as the firearm has, red dots offer many advantages in a defensive or offensive situation that make them worth adopting into your normal rotation of firearms technologies. In an effort to make the adoption of red dots easier, Trijicon has just announced the introduction of their new Dual Defense Kit for the RMR. The Dual Defense Kit is intended to be a turn-key solution to adding a red dot to any RMR compatible pistol.

The company just announced that they have released a long-sought-after adapter plate for the Trijicon RMR and the SIG P320 line of pistols – the SSM-03. The kit will allow you to place a Trijicon RMR or similarly patterned option on top of your P320 with the option also available to have it paired with backup iron sights.

Holosun and Trijicon Announce Lawsuit Settlement
Competition in the firearms and firearms accessories market benefits consumers. It stands to reason, right? One of the best ways for a company to earn your business and make you a customer is to put out superior products. If they produce something that you want to buy more than you want to buy a different manufacturer’s comparable offering, they win your business – and in the process, you also win by virtue of improvements and innovations to which you gain access. Another option for a company to make themselves and their products more attractive is to sell them at a lower price point. Most consumers are mindful of their spending; they have to be judicious about how many of their dollars they are willing to relinquish and to whom for what. Buyers in general want good value – some of which will involve the quality and features of the product in question, but cost combines with other considerations to comprise a comprehensive value proposition. It’s not enough just to make a product; you have to sell it at a price that people are both able and willing to pay. Trijicon and Holosun both understand these precepts well, and they recently locked horns over how one another was going about their business.

Its next closest competition is a coin flip among several reputable and good manufacturers… until now. Now its closest competition for red dot superiority comes in-house. TFB Exclusive Review: Trijicon RMRcc for Concealed Carry Pistols
Earlier this morning we announced that the Trijicon RMRcc is now available to the public to fit all of the most popular concealed carry, full size, and optics ready pistols on the market. The want and desire by shooters for a dedicated micro red dot by a big-name manufacturer has been strong for a while now, and it is finally here! Yes, there are some already out there, but they are produced by foreign manufacturers, seem nearly unattainable to the average consumer, and are not rack-your-gun-on-a-door-frame-by-the-optic durable.

Reptilia RMR Mounting Options For 30mm Optics
It may seem counterintuitive to some shooters, but a backup reflex or red dot optic on top of a 1x variable optic does make sense. Competition shooters can transition between close and far targets without having take a hand off to move the magnification ring. Similarly, home defense setups can have optics with two zero distances. The Reptilia RMR mounting options give shooters the ability to put together the perfect setup for their intended uses. Details, links and specifications can be found below.
