GunBroker Auctions Ruger "Jade Vaquero" for Cody Firearms Museum
The Cody Firearms Museum, located at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, is an icon. This incredible museum houses what they advertise as “the most comprehensive collection of American firearms in the world.” With the current count of more than 7000 guns and some 30,000 gun-related artifacts, this bold claim is well warranted. The museum is not publicly funded but is supported in part by admission tickets, tours and events, and membership options. Recently, GunBroker.com teamed up with Ruger’s Custom Shop, artist Paul Lantuch and Baron Engraving, and Rangehot photographer Hunter Elliott to further support this important institution. These entities collaborated to offer an auction benefiting the museum, for a gorgeous one-of-a-kind .45LC Ruger revolver, dubbed the “Jade Vaquero”. Check out the Jade Vaquero’s auction page here for details, and to see how much it sold for, and see below for a copy of GunBroker’s announcement for more.
The Rimfire Report: Iver Johnson's Rare M1 Carbine 22LR
Hello and welcome back to another edition of The Rimfire Report! This ongoing series is all about the rimfire firearm world and its many different types of guns, ammunition, shooting sports, and history! It’s probably pretty obvious at this point that I’ve had a recent habit of browsing GunBroker.com a bit too much in my free time. Just a few weeks ago we checked out a pretty rare takedown rifle that may have been novel for its time but has since been surpassed by modern versions of the concept. Last week we talked about the really cool H&K P7K3, which all of you really seemed to enjoy. I actually share the sentiment that a lot of you had – H&K should really put the P7K3 back into production, or at least, give us a dedicated 22LR P7 that does away with the hydraulic buffer system altogether but still keeps all the other odd quirks of the P7. It’s probably too much of an ask, but a man can dream. This week we’re back at it again with another GunBroker.com auction that has since ended without being sold – this time the very rare Iver Johnson M1 Carbine 22LR – Iver Johnson’s dedicated 22LR replica of the .30 Carbine M1 Carbine first introduced to the US Armed Forces in WWII.
An Imported FAMAS with Serial #13 is Being Sold for a Silly Amount of Money
How’d you like to own a FAMAS? Me neither. Especially when it’s going to set me back six figures. Admittedly, I don’t know much about the FAMAS other than that it is a French-made bullpup rifle that has been in service with the French military since the late 1970s. Known for its distinctive appearance, the FAMAS has become a popular collector’s item, perhaps in no small part to Ian McCollum’s alacrity for the gun. However, imported FAMAS rifles can be quite expensive, such as the low-serial FAMAS F1 currently up for auction on GunBroker.com for a starting bid of $106,999.99.

Ultra Rare Tommy Built TMP7 Attempted Auction On Gunbroker.com
If you’re familiar with the company Tommy Built Tactical, then you’ll no doubt know exactly what the term “TMP7” implies. That’s right, Tommy Built made the effort to make an MP7 and through Gun Dog Armory has opted to auction it off with a starting bid of $90,000. However, despite the relative popularity of the MP7 platform and its status as practical unobtainium within the firearms universe, the auction for the TMP7 failed to get any bids before the item listing ended. I still think it’s pretty cool that Tommy Built Tactical made the decision to build one and is offering to sell it off to a willing customer who might have the extra six figures to throw at such a rare and prestigious item. However, in stark contrast to other firearms we’ve featured here from Gunbroker.com, I don’t think there is any arguing that this one is 100% a Hot Gat.
Selling on GunBroker 101 – How Not to Suck
So you want to sell a gun on GunBroker. Are you sure? No, really, are you sure? Are you absolutely sure? Personally, I subscribe to the “no sell, only buy” philosophy of gun ownership. But if you want to sell your gun, and actually get it sold for a reasonable price, read on.

One Million Rounds of Ammunition Offered to Ukraine by AMMO Inc.
AMMO Inc announced today that it would be offering one million rounds of small arms ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. AMMO Inc is not selling this ammunition but rather offering to donate it to the Ukrainian military after the company heard President Zelensky’s request for ammunition rather than a ride out of the country. AMMO Inc is most well known in the United States as a vertically integrated company of ammunition and firearms components as well as the new operator of the popular gun auction site GunBroker.com.

Indiana Jones' S&W Bapty Revolver from Raiders of the Lost Ark for Sale
I’m a huge fan of Harrison Ford and of the Indiana Jones movies. Although Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is probably my favorite of the series, Raiders of the Lost Ark is probably a close second. The legendary Bapty Limited .455 Webley revolver used on-screen and in the movies is up for sale on Gunbroker.com through the well-known seller Mr.Gun Dealer. There is no telling exactly how much the revolver will go for but in the past several other Indiana Jones memorabilia have been sold off at an auction for nearly half a million dollars.
Zombie Hans Gruber Wants His P7 Back, Offers Nearly $10M
While browsing through Gunbroker.com the TFB staff came across a curious-looking auction. Since we are always on the hunt for anything Die Hard (aka a Christmas movie) related, H&K P7 pistols (especially the M13 variants) are always a saved search. However, to our dismay when we came across this particular listing, it was going for 7 figures already. It seems that despite their normal going rate of around $2,000-$2,500 this particular P7 is highly desired either by Hans Gruber’s Zombie persona or maybe just a bunch of trolls.

It’s no secret that the gun industry is going through a massive period of high demand right now. Regardless of the reasons for this increase in demand a lot of you are probably looking to buy more guns or perhaps, your first gun. The problem here is that while many more people are buying guns right now, not many are available locally – even at gun shows. The good news is that there are still plenty of guns out there and you can buy them with just a tiny bit of effort – sometimes at a steal of a price. Today I’ll be going over how to find and purchase a gun online legally with Gunbroker.com.
Gunbroker App BANNED from iTunes & Google Play on Mobile Devices
Do you use the website Gunbroker.com to hunt up firearms and accessories? Do you do it on a mobile device? If so, you have probably been wondering what happened to your app. One day it is on your phone and you are browsing a gun utopia, and the next day… POOF… it’s gone! This news so far has snuck under the radar of most gun media sites. One outlet which caught this fairly quickly was Breitbart News.

GUNBROKER FINDS: Factory Original Colt 601
For those with a taste for true classics, this Gunbroker auction might be worth a look. Up for sale is a factory original Colt 601 machine gun in excellent condition. In its fully transferable form, this rifle is a pristine example of some of the AR-15s that left the Colt factory in 1962. Of course, a unique specimen like an original Colt 601 carries a price tag that reflects its rarity. With a starting bid of $90K and a buy-it-now price of $100K, this machine gun is reserved for those with plenty of disposable income.
