TFB Review: InfiRay Outdoor Mate MAH50 Thermal Front Attachment

This is a review of the InfiRay Outdoor Mate MAH50 Thermal Front Attachment. There are many reasons to consider thermal “clip-ons” for your ordinary day optic, and the MATE MAH50 is one of the best on the market in terms of image quality.

POTD: Pulsar Thermion DUO DXP50 Multispectral Riflescope

The Ruger Precision rifle is a great host for various optics. In this Photo Of The Day, it’s carrying the brand new Pulsar Thermion DUO DXP50. So what’s so cool about this digital optic? It looks like a normal riflescope, but it combines a 4K daylight camera with a powerful thermal sensor.

POTD: Schmidt & Bender 6-36×56 with InfiRay Outdoor Mate MAH50

Welcome to our Photo Of The Day! Every day, we feature a photograph or two. I took these images for an upcoming review of the brand new Schmidt & Bender 6-36×56 PM II (yes, it’s finally here!), so consider them a teaser of some sort. I also took the opportunity to fit the InfiRay Outdoor Mate MAH50 front attachment, which adds thermal capability to (almost) any riflescope with an adapter. The mount is from Spuhr.

[EnforceTac 2023] Concamo & Ghosthood – Confusion Camouflage System

Last year I reviewed the Concamo Ghosthood and some of the components in their Confusion Camouflage System. I was quite satisfied with the quality and performance of their products, and their camoflage which consists of 25 superimposed layers which create a “chaotic illusion”. They claim that the subconscious mind is overwhelmed by the camouflage pattern, and begins to discern natural shapes in it.

TFB Review: Concamo Ghosthood – Confusion Camouflage System

This is a review of the Concamo Ghosthood and some of the components in their Confusion Camouflage System. If you’re following TFB, I’m sure you’ve seen the Concamo images at least a few times. The images look great, and they have wonderful marketing cooperation with excellent companies like Heckler & Koch. However, I was very curious and thought our readers would be as well, what they would look like in the flesh. So I reached out to Concamo, and they were kind enough to send me some items in Concamo Green. The pattern is said to use 8 colors, blended through various elements and shadings to produce more than 60 layers of perceivable depth.

TFB Review: Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro Thermal Riflescope

This is a review of the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro, which Pulsar claims is the first thermal imaging riflescope with a classic design and built-in laser rangefinder. POTD: Concamo with SG 751 SAPR and SG 553 BK .300 Blackout

Photo Of The Day and today we have SIG SAUER AG and Concamo on offer. The second firearm is a SG 553 BK in .300 Blackout with a matching suppressor. Which one do you like best?

POTD: Concamoed Soldiers with HK433 and HK G27P

Sometimes a single photo is enough for our Photo Of The Day. Today is such a day. Concamo produces some really effective camouflage patterns and their images follow the same high standards. Most people think there’s just a dog in the picture above. But we have the brand new Heckler & Koch HK433 and a short-barreled Heckler & Koch HK417, most likely a G27P. Note that the HK417 has some really interesting optics, probably a thermal clip-on.

POTD: Dillon Aero MG6 & Concamo

Photo Of The Day: Above you have the new German MG6. The MG6 is a Dillon Aero M134D Gatling Minigun. It is chambered in 7.62x51mm and has a firing rate of over 3000 rounds per minute. During the summer, TFB had the pleasure to examine and play around with some of the Concamo products. I gave some of their Ghosthood products to my kids and they quickly disappeared, literally…

POTD: Heckler & Koch HK437 in .300 Blackout

What could be better than the Heckler & Koch HK433? Quite possibly the Heckler & Koch HK437 right above you, chambered in .300 Blackout (7.62x35mm). The rifle is also equipped with a VarioRay laser light module from Rheinmetall and an EOTech EXPS. You don’t hear as much about the .300 Blackout caliber as before, but it is still gaining in popularity with various Police and Military forces as a medium-range weapon due to its stopping power and suppressability.

German Short Range Sniper Rifle (G26) Tender Cancelled

There is so much going on in Germany and their attempts to renew the small arms for their Army at the moment. If you think it’s confusing, you have our sympathies and full understanding. First, it was announced that the Haenel MK556 had won the tender to replace the G36, and within less than a month,  the €250 Million order was withdrawn. Until we know what happens next we can only guess, but it seems that the Heckler & Koch G36 is going to be around for a while longer.

TFB Review: Swarovski Optics STR80 MRAD/MOA Spotting Scope

A spotting scope may not be an absolute must for long range hunters and competitors, but it sure is a nice addition to your setup. To be able to call your or your friend’s shots to give him impact point corrections you also need a reticle, a feature that most normal spotting scopes lack.
