When META Tactical showed me their APEX Carbine Conversion Kit at SHOT2024, I knew I had to get my hands on one. The concept is very cool — take your pistol and turn it into a bullpup carbine in about five minutes. After talking with their team and seeing the thing in person, I bought one with my own money along with some accessories to see if this "world's first pistol-to-rifle bullpup conversion kit" lives up to the hype. After 250 rounds through a PSA Dagger Compact setup, here's what you need to know about this $399 space gun.

At SHOT 2024, Nebraska-based Zermatt Arms unveiled its newest product, a chassis designed for the Remington 700 series. With its dedication to precision and quality, Zermatt has for years held a highly respected place in the industry of precision rifle accessories and actions.

Strike Industries has just unveiled their new SMC BRAVO Chassis for SIG P320 pistols, which allows much more modularity than a stock pistol. For those not familiar with the SIG P320 pistol series, a major design feature is that the serialized Fire Control Unit (FCU) allows the trigger group to be swapped into various grip moduals and used with various sized slides as well. The SMC BRAVO Chassis is the second such offering from Strike Industries, with the ALPHA being the first. However, the BRAVO is described as being the “lite” version, which will normally be listed at $129.95 compared the ALPHA which was released last year for $549.95. Grey Birch Manufacturing is proud to introduce its new Remington 700 compatible chassis, the La Chassis 700. Based off of the original La Chassis for the Ruger 10/22, the La Chassis 700 is the culmination of everything that Grey Birch Manufacturing has learned from their success with their rimfire products. Rhineland Arms and Global Defense made a splash at SHOT 2023 with their R2000 rifle chassis. That kit builds a reduced-scale WA2000 clone with AR-15 internals. A big brother is now in the works, with a .308 Winchester-size version on the way.

Our friends at MDT have just released a new version of their vertical grip for their Elite Chassis System. The MDT Vertical Grip – Premier comes with a connector bar for added stabilization and rigidity and can be adjusted on the fly with an included stowaway hex key.

The latest addition to MDT’s XRS chassis line, the XRS CZ 455, provides shooters with an accurate platform to mount their  CZ rimfire action. Like other XRS chassis the latest is constructed from a full-length CNC machined core of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with textured polymer panels. The CZ 455 XRS chassis has an MSRP of $549.95.

MK Machining is known for the additive manufacturing services, at least that is how I know of them. They print parts for Nocturn Industries and Noise Fighters. Well, they just announced their MK2.5 bullpup chassis for Remington 700 SA.

WOOX has been steadily making a larger name for themselves in both the firearms and the bladed world. From the introduction of their new full tang balanced knives to their popular Furiosa Rem700 chassis, WOOX is now fairly well known for their high quality aesthetically pleasing wood furniture. Hera Arms has added to their product line a new chassis designed for Ruger 10/22 semi-auto rimfire rifles. Overall, the new Hera Arms H22 chassis looks similar to and has borrowed many design solutions from their H7 bolt-action rifle chassis. Let’s take a closer look at the Hera Arms H22 chassis.

Luth-AR has released a new chassis for the Ruger 10/22 and its clone actions. The new chassis is called MCA-22 (MCA stands for Modular Chassis Assembly). According to the company, this chassis is great for casual plinking, Tactical 22 matches, Steel Challenge, Practical Rimfire Challenge matches, or getting started in NRL22 competitions.
