New SIG Sauer CROSS MAGNUM Bolt-Action Rifle
SIG Sauer have released the bigger version of their CROSS rifle, the CROSS Magnum. Although the new rifle is currently available chambered in 300 Win Mag only, which is a standard/long action length cartridge, the CROSS Magnum actually has a magnum size action as according to SIG Sauer, the receiver length is capable of extending all the way up to 300 PRC, which is a magnum action length cartridge. Let’s take a closer look at the new SIG Sauer CROSS Magnum rifle.
TFB Review: Bear Creek 300 Win Mag Huntmaster
Bear Creek Arsenal’s 300 Win Mag HuntMaster is built around a completely new AR platform, the BC-8. The BC-8 oversized design allows for long action chamberings like the 300 Winchester Magnum but with parts compatibility with existing AR-15 and AR-10 designs. This aims to be the ultimate hunting rifle, feeding from a five-round double-stack double-feed magazine. I was one of the lucky few that were sent one of these rifles for review, and here’s what I found.

Fixing My Stupid Mistakes With The RCBS Stuck Case Remover
We all do stupid things sometimes. In my case, I do the same stupid things repeatedly. In recent months I managed to get two pieces of .300 Win Mag brass stuck in two separate dies. This was both embarrassing and was getting in the way of making more ammo for my Winchester 70 sniper homage. Fortunately, RCBS offers a stuck case tool for this job. Let’s see how it works, and if it works.

Sako Carbon Wolf Long Term Review
At SHOT 2018, I was having a blast looking through the Tikka/Sako wares. The most eye-catching of these to me was their new (at the time) Sako 85 Carbon Wolf sporting a striking adjustable RTM carbon fiber “soft touch” coated stock, as well as a fluted and threaded barrel.

The introduction of these new cartridges brings shooters the same familiar weapon system in the RPR, but with a lot more heft to it. These magnum RPR offerings are longer, heavier and quite a bit more expensive.
