[SHOT 2026] Lancer Systems L15 .300 Blackout Rifles - Suppressor Built
Lancer Systems brought purpose-built .300 Blackout configurations to SHOT Show 2026, marking their first complete firearms chambered in anything other than 5.56. The company known for magazines and carbon fiber handguards built two L15 variants specifically for running .300 BLK with suppressors.
POTD: TROY Defender Personal Survival Weapon - 300 BLK
Recently, the TROY Defender PSW in 5.56 was released, and many asked for the obvious. That has now been fixed, as the 300 Blackout version of the TROY Defender PSW is now available on their website. For this Photo Of The Day, we have a mix of images of the 5.56 and the new 300 BLK version. Which caliber would you prefer? As much as I like the 5.56, I think it needs a longer barrel, so I’d go for the 300 BLK, which also would suppress a lot better.
Noveske’s Chrome Ghetto Blaster 300BLK SBR - In 24K Gold
Say what you like about the firearms industry, but Noveske does it a bit differently. Here we have their new Chrome Ghetto Blaster, with a 7.94” barrel in 300BLK, in a SBR configuration. There is a total of 50 Chrome Ghetto Blasters available, all with a finish made by Iron Monkey. 49 of them are in Black Chrome, and just one is in 24k Gold. I don’t know the price for the Golden one, it seems to be a Golden lottery prize and not for sale, but the other 49 are priced at $3,950.
What Is 300 Blackout Good For?
Since its inception in 2009 and subsequent SAAMI approval in 2011, the 300 Blackout cartridge has had a somewhat polarizing effect on the firearms community. Some shooters see the round as a do-it-all tactical solution, while others say they don’t get the point. This is one of those arguments that people shouldn’t put too much time or effort into, as both sides of the debate are right and wrong. Many have the wrong impression about what 300BLK was developed to address, seeing it as a challenger to 5.56x45mm NATO. This assertion tends to goad the 5.56 NATO crowd into defending old faithful, pointing out that velocity, trajectory, and terminal performance favor the readily available, relatively inexpensive round proven effective globally since the Vietnam War. Like most discourse, the answer lies somewhere in the middle, recognizing that 300BLK was developed for a particular purpose, and is a very versatile round that can provide mission-specific benefits.
POTD: The Heckler & Koch G39 - 9” Barrel In 300 Blackout
The German Army has ordered around 1,000 HK437 rifles for their Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK) elite unit, designated the G39. At EnforceTac in Germany, there was a chance to see the rifle live and take some images of the details. As you can imagine, it’s a very compact firearm and with the 300 Blackout, it’s able to deliver quite a punch.

LMT's Integrally Suppressed .300BLK - with a Swiss Suppressor?
In this video, James Reeves from TFBTV introduces an interesting firearm model, the LMT CSW, featuring a Swiss-made suppressor. He discusses the unique circumstances that led to its creation, particularly relating to U.S. export laws regarding suppressors. This video explains how they managed to design a suppressor compatible with the CSW, allowing it to be fully functional without violating legal restrictions. The conversation also covers the firearm's specifications, intended use, and the legal considerations surrounding such weapons in Europe compared to the U.S.
