[SHOT 2026] Viridian RFX1 Reflex Sight for S&W Bodyguard 2.0
Expanding their RFX line of reflex sights, Viridian introduced at SHOT 2026 the RFX1, a green dot sight designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 pistol. As you can see in the images, the serrations of the sight's housing as well as its contours match those of the pistol’s slide, giving the assembly a nice, streamlined look. With dimensions of 1.63" x 0.81" x 1.02" and weighing 0.53 oz, this optic is claimed to be the smallest reflex sight in the world.
The housing of the new Viridian RFX1 green dot sight is CNC-machined out of 6061 aluminum. The 16x15mm objective lens is multi-coated and the sight is IPX4 water-resistant with an operational temperature range of -4°F to 130°F. The 3-MOA green dot turns on automatically upon motion detection and turns off after two minutes of rest. The sight also features an automatic brightness adjustment. The RFX1 green dot sight is powered by a CR1632 battery with an advertised battery life on the middle brightness setting of over 30,000 hours (there is no information on the number of brightness settings).
The new Viridian RFX1 sight is a drop-in accessory. Its installation does not require any modifications or even adapter plates; it installs using the rear iron sight dovetail cut in the slide.
The MSRP of the Viridian RFX1 reflex sight is $229. The package includes all the hardware and tools necessary for the installation. This product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. For more information, visit the company’s website.

Is it just me or does this look really chintzy? The gaps towards the front of the optic are setting off my OCD.
If they would make one for the shield, i would definitely buy to try.
