[SHOT 2026] Updated Burris Veracity Scopes and Rapid Engagement Design

Burris has updated their Veracity line of riflescopes by deleting the internal digital screen and introducing new reticles as well as a controls design called RED (Rapid Engagement Design) that features aggressive knurling along the power ring, turrets, and turret caps. The RED upgrade will be applied to other Burris scopes as well and products featuring this industrial design can be distinguished by the red ring behind the magnification adjustment ring.

Here is the list of features of the new generation Veracity scopes as described by Burris:

• BURRIS KNOB SYNERGY. At the heart of the second-generation Veracity is the Burris Knob Synergy System, paired with the Pro Elevation Knob—a two-turn, exposed elevation turret with a zero click stop for fast, repeatable dialing. The exposed system is built for shooters who rely on precise adjustments shot after shot, while maintaining durability in harsh field conditions.
• R.E.D. INDUSTRIAL DESIGN. The second-generation Veracity features Burris’ bold R.E.D. Industrial Design, highlighted by a distinctive red ocular accent and aggressive, high-traction knurling on the magnification ring and turrets. The streamlined yet robust construction balances durability with refined handling, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
• IMPROVED 5X ZOOM SYSTEM. Burris’s latest proprietary 5x zoom system provides hunters and shooters with some of the shortest, most compact riflescopes in class without sacrificing performance. The versatile magnification range allows for a large field-of-view at close ranges and better target acquisition at long ranges.
• HIGH-PERFORMANCE HD GLASS. Provides excellent brightness and clarity with lasting durability – exactly what you expect from Burris.
