[SHOT 2026] NEW Banish 556, 20-gauge, and .410 Bore Silencers
Silencer Central’s Banish line of suppressors has a new product for 2026. The Banish 556 is a reduced backpressure silencer designed for hard use. We got to take a first look at it, as well as some new shotgun suppressors.

The Banish 556 is a heavy-duty suppressor optimized for semiauto (or full auto) use. It has a stainless steel blast baffle and a 3D printed Inconel body. Thanks to this design, even if the core is destroyed or damaged, the serialized blast baffle can be recovered and attached to a new printed core. The core features a helical design and forward vents to reduce backpressure. A 1/2x28 direct thread mount is standard, and thanks to the HUB mounting threads, it can be adapted to a wide range of other mount systems as well.
There are no barrel length restrictions on the Banish 556. It weighs 15.6 ounces and is 6.3 inches long. MSRP is $1,129, and it is available for purchase from Silencer Central.
In addition to the new Banish 556, there are two new models of shotgun silencers. The Banish 20 is for 20-gauge use, and the Banish 410 is for the .410 bore. These mimic the design of the Banish 20 but scale it down to these smaller bores. These new models retain the half-cirlce design of the original, with the bulk of the suppressor body off to the sides and below the bore to keep the view clear down the sights. Three choke options will be included with each silencer. Pricing and availability timelines are TBD.
From the manufacturer:
The BANISH 556 is a dedicated, hard-use suppressor built specifically for the demands of the 5.56 NATO/.223 REM cartridge. Engineered for sustained fire and extreme heat, it features an additive manufactured Inconel core paired with a stainless-steel blast chamber to withstand aggressive firing schedules including full-auto use.
The BANISH 556’s controlled-flow technology includes helical vents that significantly reduce back pressure, making it well-suited for full- and semi-automatic platforms. With no barrel length restrictions, the suppressor delivers consistent performance across a wide range of configurations, while still maximizing flash and sound suppression. On a 16-inch AR-15, it averages 132.4 dB and on a 10.5-inch AR-15, it averages 137 dB.
