POTD: The San Tan Tactical Valley 9
When a company famous for AR-15s and drop-in triggers decides to build a pistol, it feels a bit like a respected engine tuner rolling out its own car. You expect it to be quick, and you expect the details to be right. This is TFB's Photo of the Day, and the “car” in question is the San Tan Tactical Valley 9. We don’t know all the details, but it is a 9mm with a 4140 carbon steel slide finished in black nitride, a 19-round capacity, and an optic cut for a Trijicon footprint.
The trigger is an aluminum flat face with adjustable overtravel, which is a promising detail from a company that shares a family tree with CMC Triggers. Whether it drives as well as it looks on paper is something the range will have to tell us. The release date was “Summer 2026”, but I guess the sun always shines in Texas?
What do you think of the teaser images? Does an AR specialist belong in the handgun lane?

while getting into the 2011 or DS 1911 space is no longer surprising, hopefully it will be a solid shooter & less than like $5k.
Love the marketing intro, "We don’t know all the details." Yet, it goes on with the details of a standard 2011 platform. But the more the better.
