New Primary Arms SLx Compact 4-16X44mm FFP Rifle Scope
Primary Arms Optics has expanded its SLx® lineup with the release of the new SLx Compact 4-16×44mm First Focal Plane rifle scope, a mid-power optic designed to deliver precision capability in a notably compact and lightweight package. Measuring just 10.1 inches in length and weighing 20.5 ounces, the new SLx 4-16×44 is aimed at shooters who want extended-range performance without adding unnecessary bulk to their rifle.
Positioned for use on lightweight hunting rifles, compact DMR-style builds, and practical precision setups, the 4-16× magnification range provides enough top-end power for distance work while remaining usable at lower magnifications for faster engagements. The first focal plane design ensures that reticle subtensions remain accurate throughout the entire magnification range, supporting consistent ranging and holdovers. An adjustable parallax system ranging from 10 yards to infinity further broadens the scope’s versatility, allowing it to be used across rimfire, intermediate, and full-power rifle platforms.
Primary Arms is offering the SLx Compact 4-16×44mm with three ACSS® reticle options. The ACSS DEKA G2 provides a clean MIL-based layout with a fine 0.1 MIL center dot and integrated ranging features. The ACSS Athena BPR MIL reticle offers a more traditional grid-style layout with a precise chevron aiming point and extended hold capability. Shooters preferring a BDC-based system can opt for the ACSS HUD DMR .308 reticle, which incorporates ranging, wind holds, moving target leads, and ballistic compensation out to extended distances.
